Cristiano Ronaldo believes Real Madrid have won the group already, claiming they have a 75 per cent chance of making it through after beating Milan 2-0 on Tuesday.
It was Ronaldo who set Madrid on their way when he turned in a free-kick. Mesut Oezil sealed the points a minute later.
That was that as Milan failed to recover from two massive blows in quick succession.
"We had to impose a strong pace from the start, playing with the concentration this kind of match deserves and we were able to win," Ronaldo told Marca.com.
"Nine points from nine, and we have 75 per cent chance of qualification."
Jose Mourinho believes Milan were stunned by his side's explosive start and once the bomb went off, the damage was too much to repair.
"I always expect difficult games. There are never any easy games. We started really well and were too fast for Milan. First goal and then a quick second, we could have won 3-0 as we had other great chances," he told Sky Sport Italia after the game.
"We deserved the three points, they are important for us. We have a young team and it was a great test against an experienced Milan side.
"We are always improving. The players always want to learn, win and work hard. This is important for me and the team. We are a real team."
