Real Madrid Goal Hero Cristiano Ronaldo: I Am Delighted To Score Four For The First Time

CR7 led Madrid to a thumping 6-1 win scoring four times against Racing but the attacker says the win was more important than his goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo was in blistering form for Real Madrid during their 6-1 romp over Racing Santander. The Portuguese winger was in jubilant mood grabbing four goals and almost snatching a fifth towards the end of the game.

"I am very happy because I have never scored four goals but today was just important for the team," CR7 told Marca after the game.

"This would not have been possible without my team-mates. I must congratulate the team. I am a team player. Some of my colleagues are even better than me.

"We should not be elated as the coach told us. There is still a long way to go in the league and today was important," concluded Ronaldo.
