Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has revealed he believes star player Cristiano Ronaldo will be a good match in time for Wednesday Champions League against Olympique Lyonnais.
The Portuguese international has been omitted from the score sheet for this weekend La Liga clash with Hercules, however, because of his continuing recovery from a thigh injury.
"The fight against Hercules are not the right time for him to return to game action. But I think it will be able to start against Olympique Lyonnais on Wednesday," Mourinho was quoted as saying during a press conference.
The former Inter Milan boss has continued to praise the German national Mesut Oezil.
"Mesut has made great progress and getting stronger every day. He joined us in the final days of preseason, but has adapted to his new environment very well.
"Our style of play suits his own as well, and played very well. We took the price we paid for him its not good quality. His capture was a lot."
Mourinho has also discussed the tactical plans of Madrid and stressed that it is not training you play, but a way to deal with tactical instructions to players.
"The training we use is not important. This is how you interpret tactical advice. Sometimes it is better to play with two strikers and sometimes it's better to play without a striker from Real. "
Madrid take Hercules on Saturday before hosting Lyon decider Wednesday after a 1-1 draw last 16 first leg clash in France.
