Real Madrid's Iker Casillas: Cristiano Ronaldo is my teammate, my friend and my enemy

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has described Cristiano Ronaldo as a "teammate, friend and foe" and reveals that he often argued with the front in Portuguese.

Reports of a rift abundant early in the season and while both have denied any animosity and were photographed together, even - with their girlfriends - in social, Casillas said that their relationship is not always harmonious.

"He is a friend and teammate, a teammate and a friend, but it is also an enemy, because we argue a lot."

Ronaldo hit 40 league goals for Madrid this term (53 in total) and Casillas praised the 26 years, marking the contribution, said he would choose the Portuguese in the lead, with five-time winner in Hugo Sanchez Pichichi a real dream team in Madrid.

"I've never played with Hugo and I saw him play a lot," said the goalkeeper.

"I'll stick with what I know and that is Cristiano. It is no coincidence that he scored 40 in a season. And he did it before, so it must be good. "

Casillas also praised manager Jose Mourinho made a puppy competitive again.

"He [Mourinho] has become a competitive team and an aggressive nature, which has made us more mature," he said.

"We are a young team, and our first tooth came out of the Copa del Rey. But we are not satisfied and we must be more ambitious. "
